Title: DR350 long Range Tank (Fitting)
Post by: kawasakikz1 on December 01, 2009, 11:00:03 AM
Hi. Ive just won on ebay a 16lt tank for my 1991 DR350.
My question is the front locating rubbers.
The tank came with its own fitting kit so I need to remove the original locating rubbers and pegs (Bearings)
The instructions say to unscrew the original ones. Mine will not budge at all.
Are they all screwed on? Or are some welded.

Im up to large mole grips with no success.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Im in Chippenham, Wiltshire.
Ive already tried with a plumbers blow lamp with no success.
It couldn't get much heat into the area.
