Title: Going to rallies

Is anyone up for visiting some other rallies next year, as the Thumper Club? I mean a group of us camping together with a flag or banner, as is traditional? I was thinking of things like the Farmyard, and rallies put on by clubs, like those chaps we met at the BMF (whose name I've forgotten).

A few of us are going to the GPO Rally organised by the Barrel Bikers (who we met at the BMF). Its in October I think!

That's the chaps. October 6-8, according to their website. May well be up for that, want to rendezvous on the way? Who's going?

The GPO in October... what are they doing! - GPO - Generally Pissed Off - as in how you feel after the winter.  I dont know.  In may day it was the GPO in spring and the Firkin o'bitter in the winter...

Who did you meet?  Do you remember names?

October - wonder if I will have a bike working by then - and if I can remember where the old Barrel badges are....

An affable bloke called Yogi, and some of his mates. They helped eat up Rick's spare trout, and plied us with Pondering Vapours.

Yogi - nope do not know him, but most of the Barrel members past and present a a good bunch.

He's their current chairman. I think they were an excellent bunch and we should all buy tickets to their rally ;-)
