Title: big bore xbr

hi guys i just got me hands on a 650 dominator for my xbr  and it needs a rebore its not a bad bore but could do with a freshen up ok so i rings nornman hyde and they can do a 680 kit for a xr 650 they dont have a listing for a dominator so has annyone fitted this kit to a nx650 ...............i had a look a that xbr 666 link but i dont speak ze german so i dont understand it  thanks guys   yoshi

This guy used as 670cc convertion using a ceramic coated piston - may be something similar?

The XR is 80mm stroke & the dommie is 82mm so i dont think it will work.

I have a Venolia 101mm (654cc) high comp forged piston in mine which gives 11:1 compression ratio on a standard dommie head.

thanks guys for the help ............................turkeyuk is that 80mm stroke for a xr 600?where did you get your piston kit regards yoshi ..............tigercraft xbr   mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm; lovely any photos?

Hi Yoshi, yes 80mm for the XR,

My piston came with my Tigcraft racer as a spare, i have an invoice from Race techniques who supplied it:
