After a couple of weeks work I am now in the position where all my bike stuff is on one garage and all my building business gear is in the other.
I don't want to scare people, but this is the building garage after a tidy-up:

yes, that is a C50 in the foreground, but that's just a temporary resident, the new owner will be collecting it tomorrow.
It's been hard work, but well worth it.

And there was me thinking I had a lot of crap....

Fuck off! :D
It's actually pretty sorted now and I can generally lay my hands on the all the bits and pieces I need for a working day. Most of the contents of the right hand shelves go into the van every morning. The other shelves contain things like boxes of plumbing spares, paint, fixings, etc. One shelf is devoted entirely to dust sheets.
The ceiling racks contain useful off-cuts of wood and pipework. I have to be really diligent about this and not bring home every off-cut, just the stuff I'm likely to need again.
The wooden box by the window at the far left is the box my grandfather's ashes came in. I'm converting it into a tea caddy ;)

Yes but not always the working day that you are actually . What you need in there are a few dozen empty beer bottles.Lend it some ambience . ;D

I have a load of Scrumpy flagons that I have been trying to cut the bases off to use as cloches in the garden, no success as yet - a few of those scattered about, especially with what could be the dregs of the scrumps, or the after effects but we are nhot quite sure, would do the job.
Oh and some girly magazines tucked into a corner, by a "mate" just to keep the marital harmony smooth ;D

Oddly enough, there are some magazines tucked away on my shelves. Some annoying teenagers who use my lane as a prime grass-smoking location left three mags behind one day. I did the annoyed dad thing and scooped them up, bellowing on about "what if my children saw these" etc. etc. Of course what I should have done is throw them in the bin... but somehow they are still in the garage somewhere.
The scary thing is, I do mean 'somewhere' because I'm not sure where they are atm.

Ah! Would these be the same 'magazines ' that Mrs One pot was carrying away from the garage the other day ?Bin day ? Muttering ' I'll give him gentlemans reading material ' ;)
On a different note , the garage at 'G' towers has had a make over today . much moving about and quite a bit consigned to the bin.Decided to do so after one too many , tumble /scraped shin / banged knee /bumped head episode.
Oh and yes I've still got my bottles , before you ask ;D
