Hi All
I'm starting to get the XBR together, but one of the threads has stripped on the footrest arm- there is another bolt holding it, and I can get the bolt done up relatively tight before it then loses it's threading- would a drop of threadlock do the trick?

Do you mean the threaded holes on the frame? If so then you can fit a longer bolt and use a nut on the back of the lug to tighten it all up.

Yes, thats the one- I have stainless allens in there, thought it looked a bit odd with the nut on the back- may have to do that on the other side too! ;)

Given the age of XBR frames now, it's odds on you will HAVE to do it on both sides soon enough. The lug is a funny construction, it appears to be a solid piece of metal but it's actually more like a nut encased in a metal pressing.
Can you pass my anorak please? ::)

Pass you anorak - I would not be able to eat it in the first place.
