There is a nice Thruxton exhaust on e-bay. It'd avoid me having to take the silencers off the Bonneville when I get a puncture or wear out a tyre.
Thing is, it's going to be more open and I've already got a K&N air filter (washable). I don't want more power and less fuel economy/more noise is not the way I want to go. I can't face taking the carbs off and messing with jets.
Anyone reccon the pipes alone will make it lean and cook the motor if I just drop 'em on? :-\
Thanks
Andy

Andy ,When I fitted Hyde silencers to my Bonnie , they came with jets .I think if you are fitting anything other than standard silencers then you will have to do the same .I suggest a call to Norman Hyde or Mototwin to clarify .For the sake of a couple of quid on jets and an afternoon of fiddling ,I wouldn't chance just dropping them on.
They will make a nice noise ;D,I could not go back to standard pipes after running mine on the Hyde jobbies .

Ah, well, sounds like I'll keep the standard silencers. The bigger jets are hassle enough to fit, but I really don't need to introduce a means of getting it use more petrol, range is short already :'(
Still, just saved me a few quid ;D
