Title: XBR 500 LEAKING PETROL TANK
Post by: STEVE on February 15, 2009, 09:49:44 PM
Having tried 4 times with "Petseal" to stop the leaks which get worse all the time I wonder if anyone has managed to locate a supplier of a replacement or an  alternative tank that fits?

The original tank on my XBR, although looking excellent, started leaking and looking like a pepper pot  at the lower outer edges. I assume water had got into the fuel somehow. I managed to buy a replacement from an internet breaker (can't remember who) for £22. David Silver had a new one a while ago for £270.55 (ouch!)

Thanks Guys, I have just managed to get a tank from e bay for £17.
I had almost given up but it pays to be patient I guess!
