German SRX Meeting 2009

we want to invite all of you to our german SRX meeting which will be organized by us (Matthias + Bettina - SRX with sidecar). It will happen on the weekend from 19. to 21. of June in Much. Nearer information: www.moto-schmutzig.de/1.html

To all ,

Mathias tells me that he has three places left { as of yesterday } in the loft {? } for those who do not wish to camp in June .If any one wants to take him up on one of these ,then he will need to be contacted on the above e-mail address and the place reserved .

He has also asked that we advise him by March of the numbers attending from here . I'm happy to sort this out closer to the time . I am getting the feeling that a warm welcome awaits those who do venture abroad to the rally .

Reminder: Who likes to visit the German SRX Meeting  :) please mail Matthias to make reservations.
You can do this until 15th of April.

Yesterday I've made the first ride-out on my (new) SRX, it is light tuned with Dynojet, K&N and open BSM exhaust. In the lower RPM it's somewhat restless but above 4000 it  goes like hell. Quit a difference with my old SRX who's very friendly overall but above 5500 rpm has lack of power..
Had a lot of fun, hope we get nice weather up to Christmas

To all who expressed an interest in going to Germany in June ;

Can you PM me and I will e-mail Mathias to reserve our places . He has asked for names and bikes making the trip.Do not worry about payment at this time . He requires numbers only.

I will email Mathias in one week {29th } and give him numbers.If anyone wants to post up details of crossings , overnight stays ,timings etc ,feel free and we can see what the common ground is.I've provisionally indicated about eight to ten places .

Hi Rob, I have already contacted Matthias to say that Pat & I will be coming over, but we will not need accomodation as we will go in the Camper and take DR not so BIG as transport. I hope to get over there the previous Tuesday and visit a friend in Saarland and make a holiday of it.

Many thanks to all who replied .
I've sent an e-mail to Matthias confirming the attendance of those who sent me a PM .I held off after the 29th , to allow anyone else to contact me .

I am looking to cross on the Friday morning and start back on Sunday PM .I will be pushed for time off , so will be unable to bumble about as usual ,hence why I'm taking the Bonnie over .If this fits with other plans , then let me know .
I will  update when I receive a reply from Matthias .

I'm going to have to pull out of this one I'm afraid :'( Beloved is demanding a foriegn family holiday with all the trimmings this year and the budget won't cover the two. Too be honest, it won't cover the one either. Can't blame her to be fair, we haven't had a family holiday for 5 years and as I'm looking at being unemployed by November so we'd better get one in while we can.

Enjoy yourselves and bring me home a frankfurter.  ;D

Selbst, Martyn und sein Sohn gingen zur deutschen SRX Treffen. Es war, mit Losen Bier und Würsten sehr gut. Spart den Rest für das Vereinrundschreiben.

Myself, Martyn and his son went to the German SRX Rally. It was very good, with lots of beer and sausages. Will save the rest for the club newsletter.
