Gareth rang them up today and the upshot is they did recieve my booking for a twin room and two bunks so we are booked in for friday February 6th.
They also said that they have bunks available and another twin room.
So... if you want to join us in Llanberis on Dragon friday, contact PETES EATS (http://www.petes-eats.co.uk/)
Cheers

Have sent a mail to book for 4 places for the Friday evening. Will telephone tomorrow to see if I can confirm.
Cheers for that GC. ;D

I spoke to the lady at Petes Eats today and she told me that there were six bunks still available. I asked her to book them all for us and am awaiting email confirmation, although she assured me they were now available. I will take one and I have spoken to Terry who will take another. Does anyone else wish to use this facility as I know of a couple of XT'ers who may be interested. ;D

Come on TC Dragoneers, anyone else for Petes Eats?
Steve - any idea of how many XT'ers you can drum up for Llanberis?
As an aside, the bloke travelling up with me and Gareth, apart from once being a Zimbabwe moto-x champ, is XT mad. Apparently one of his uncles rode one from Zim to Britain and back again.
It'll be annoying have a bunch of 660 Ténérés parked outside taunting me with the fact that I can't afford one ::)

I am working on it. I have posted the same information on the XT site to see if we can drum up a bit of interest. I'll kep you posted. ;D

Steve - A bloke named BJ wants to bag a bunk, is there still one available?
Cheers

Yes we now have 3 (three) still available and the double room if we so wish. Don't seem to have any takers from the XT crowd yet although a few have expressed a wish to come I think they :-\ are fair weather riders!

Hi Guys,
New to the forum, but keen to be part of it. I am travelling up to Betws Y Coed on the Friday, I was going to take my 76 XT500, but have now decided to take my 88 XT350, not so bothered if it gets covered in s***.
Are there any members going to be in Betws on the Fri night.
Regards
Will

Hi Dave,
Me and my buudy are also in the bunkhouse in the Glan Aber on the Fri night.
I will hopefully be in Betws from 4pm on the Fri, quick change some grub and a few sherberts. I am going to be riding an XT350, my mate on a Suzuki GS500.

I will also be in the bunkhouse on the friday with several mates including Ian Tayor a lad I went to school with, we went to our first Dragon Rally in 1969 as schoolboys, look out for a side valve Norton and possibly 3 Russian outfits.

Yeah I remember that bunkhouse in the Glen Aber. Rooms that are so small that only one person can move in them at a time and a generator at the back that didn't miss a beat all night! ;D

True, the rooms are a little ''compact'' but it's in the pubs back yard and is only for one night ;D

Is it Ian who is fond of the Scottish Regimental headgear ?

The hat he usually wears was bought in Afghanistan by his son who is in the Army, regiment unknown to me.Like me though he often wears strange hats!!!

Are you still moaning about that generator?? Personally I was glad of it. At least it drowned out your snoring ;D

The gennie weirdly has a soothing sound, or was that the dozen beers I had drank last time I stayed in October.
So it sounds as if there will be quite a few forum members at the glan aber on the fri night.
