Title: Piston Rings
Post by: danny baker on May 14, 2008, 08:30:51 PM
I've just bought a set of standard piston rings 13011-mn9-305 to fit the XL600 barrel on my GB.
But not sure which compression ring goes at the top and which way round.
Both compression rings are marked with an 'H'  whats this mean
one of the compression rings is wider.
Can anyone help....thanks

The top ring is square-edged; second one has a chamfer, sharp edge down. All marks on top.
