After the last tragically small turn out I swore I would not do it again but, you should never say never. Anyway there is a slim chance that I may be in a position to offer such hospitality next Saturday. Anyone interested ? If it happens dossing on the Friday could be a possiblity.

Sorry matey, no can do. Sons Birthday, friends over for a meal, tennis match then more friends over for a BBQ!
-
Oddly enough it was only yesterday when I was thinking about finding and excuse to ride out your way, and typically next weekend is booked up !!
-
MMMmmm ! I could be up for a bit of that !
I could also bring along your bits and pieces that have been given to me !
And we could talk for hours about sprung saddles !

Sounds like a plan! Shall I plan accordingly?

Hi Steffan, I would love to come down for the ride, but I am off to the Wolds run in the morning and then up to Scarborough in the afternoon, to watch a friend competing in the Hillclimbing...maybe next time. I may be down your way the following Saturday, but I won't have time to stop....it's the Welsh National Rally time again and the only time I stop is to answer the questions and for petrol.....assuming it hasn't run out by then.

LOL ;D
Actually I may have to borrow a bike from my brother, the outfit needs to come off the road later this week.
As it happens my wife wants to go to the cinema on Friday with some mates and she's working Saturday, but if I arrange cover then I should be able to get over to you.

Any chance of feeding some bacon sarnies to another couple, my partner and I could be down your way (or up your way I suppose, really) for Saturday AM? It will either add a couple of GB400's or one GB and a Velo Thruxton to the gathering.

Better give Furry some directions !
If he programs his watch thingy he might end up in your old home.....Down Under !
At the Dragon this new fangled global positioning thingy said we were 8 foot below sea level ! ;D

Jethro,
Don't forget to bring up the BMW gearbox tool ! I have just acquired a spare gearbox and want to take a shufti inside it before putting it to one side ready for the next breakdown.
I am working evenings Friday and Saturday so will try to turn up for a sarny before it gets too late. If I can rebuild the Beemer top end for tomorrow I shall be there on a bike too........even though its almost as quick to walk.

And lo, it has come to pass that I will indeed be arriving on four wheels because I will have two young children with me. Hope that's ok.
I'm aiming for a 9.30 - 10.00 arrival.
BTW, I mailed Furry John some directions. I said that the Parcyrhos turning was before the Cwmann sign... that's right isn't it?

What can I say? ;D
Of course that's OK, do they eat much? Their not vegetarians or anything like that ???
You'll have to park in the street further up. See you then ;)
Steffan
Yes the sign is before coming from Llandovery

For those who missed Steffan's breakfast do -- you missed a good feed, a good days ride and some great scenery. Mine host was on form despite suffering with a sore throat. Those attending were, were, hum, well attendees. Thanks for a good day out Stephen.

Cheers Steph for your Hospitality, and hope you are well soon.
Richard.....Hope your Your Young Fella is better and home soon from Hospital.
Sorry ! didnt really notice you ontop of Tranny 'till I went past.
Did see and wave to your other off-spring.Bet they thought"What the Hell was that!"
Odd looking loud bike with strange Hairy Thing waving madly ?
Oh ! And you all missed Steffs dog,Poppy, chasing a Fox around the field next door.
The Fox was cantering around looking back at Poppy as if to say....Chase Me,Chase Me !
The Buggers were playing !
At least the Fox was, just keeping out of reach then putting a spurt on.Slowing down then speeding up so the dog couldnt catch it.
I wouldnt have believed it if I had'nt seen it !
Many Thanks

Bloody sorry I missed it. Did the lads pass on my apologies?
Youngest son went to bed with a high temperature and complaining of tummy ache so we thought it best not to risk the trip. Somewhat typically, despite a poor start on the Saturday morning, he seemed ticketyboo by 10.30 ::)
