Title: What a Club!
Post by: steffan on September 25, 2006, 06:59:53 AM
Quick note of thanks to Alan Stringer who came to the rescue with a replacement tacho for my Skorpion and to Andy Metcalfe who kindly brought down his impact wrench enabling me to remove my front sprocket. My baby is back on the road and I have to say I had forgotten what a fine motorcycle she was - lovely!

I think that this club seems to effortlessly fosters the sort of values and esprit de corps that one historically associated with motorcycling but is becoming increasingly rare these days.

Steffan

PS despite dwindling numbers and people starting to turn up in cars ( no names) I will probably be offering yet another breakfast in the Feb half term if anyone is interested. Dates and rideout details TBA

Apologies for not being able to make it (both bikes still unusable). Hopefully should have DR going by February so count me in.

Count me in matey, and I'll make sure she doesn't book me in for anything parental for the afternoon this time. The planned rideout looked a stunner and to top it off, I caught bugger all on my sons fishing trip anyway(grrrr)
