Title: XBR filters
Post by: guest288 on November 11, 2007, 10:24:54 PM
Hi Guys,

Can I get rid of the standard Airbox and replace the air filter with a pancake filter? If so, what/how do i sort out the crankcase breather? Can I replace that with a stand alone breather? If I replace the air filter, I'll probably need to change jet sizes- anyone done this and know what sizes i'll need???

Cheers Dave.

I've got rid of mine. Breather pipe routed down below the frame. Ramair filter on the carb.
But you will have to change the main jet.

Cheers Dan

Would re-routing the breather pipe to below the frame pose a risk to dropping oil on the ground just before the rear tyre? Would i be better off using a breather filter? Also, what type of ramair filter have you got on the carb?

Dave

I think it's a 62mm made by Ramair
