Is it me or is that a cheap SDS drill with a nasty fake DeWalt sticker on it?

Yep you are right1 You can get exactly the same product from Argos fro £29 quid, I know 'cos i go through them about one per year and use them for stripping off tiles and demolishing small walls which they are good for and you don't get upset if they break.
I use my expensive SDS for drilling long or small holes up to 25mm dia and these old cheap things for 5" plus holes!
PS Jethro was right you are spending too much time on the "bay", I hope your misses confiscates your 'buy' button!

Cheeky so and so!
I am actually trying to buy a cheap hammer drill so that I can better carry on my trade (hammering drills). My last Ryobi corded drill was lovely up until the moment it mysteriously lost its hammer action - it's still great for mixing plaster though :-)

Lidl had some 1000Kw SDS drills for £40 and not excessively heavy. Not as good as a Bosch but does the job, I bought mine for use with a 120mm core drill, good value, they may have some left.
