Well the pic is of Pats' end to end run, looking out over Douneray in the far North :-)
We wont be going *quite* that far North next year but we have dates (22-25 June) and provisional route... and it's a belter!
For those who understand, it involves bits of the A84, the A82 through Glen Coe, Loch Ness, Spittal of Glenshee (a Pat favourite but this time from another direction ;-)) and with small numbers will start and finish within a stones throw of the Forth Bridges :-)
If we get large numbers shall have to move the start/finish, but regardless... it'll be good ;-)

Yep add me to the list and don't worry, I'll be slapping a motor into my spare solo XBR to provide me with a decent solo for runs like this. The outfit is great for luggage but hopeless on rideouts.

Sorry matey, but I'm a NO NO! Glastonbury is the same weekend, and if you think I'm leaving Mrs Squirrel to go on her own, you must be mad :-)
Feeling sad and bad as I had my hand in pushing this one along a bit and I really really want to get back to those highland roads, but my other option is going to be a one off too.

I'm aiming to do part of my recce this weekend so things are gathering pace (or carreering out of control down the hill... all depends on your point of view!!)
I do need to know if people are coming however as the current plan (to save you all cash!) is for the party to doss down at my house on the Friday! So far we can fit everyone in... (plenty floor space for sleeping bags ;) ) and also we need to negotiate about the Saturday night campsite (Thanks to Bill for his efforts in finding one!)
So... "Just turning up" is I'm afraid NOT an option for this one!! (wags finger sternly)

Don't forget me, I said that I would come and I was one of the first to say so, so there, how could you forget about ME!
I'm quite easy to spot and not tooo hard to forget surely. I'll even sleep in the bath or at the bottom of a hedge! (aand yes I have in the past!) It's in my diary anyhow so there!

when your on the yahoo group page looking at all the messages, click (group by topic) at the top left of the messages as this makes it more of a forum-ish layout and makes it far easier to find what youre looking for.

i may not be able to make it....not sure i can afford the petrol, grub and booze....
plus i got an oil leak i need to try and fix and my indicators aint working... il get onto it this weekend and see what i can fix.

Ah kin order the parts at the weekend, get them midweek and youze lot can help fit them on friday :P lol
Besides, It's a Thumper Club tradition leavin' bike prep till the last minute, just ask the chairman about mot'ing sidecar outfits on the day of the ferry for a continental rally :O
At least mine is still useable with a *little* play in the linkage! :D
