Thank you for posting some Ducati porn!  ::)  :-* There are some good looking bikes featured in there. The "Bling" made my eyes water, with the overall finish of the machines. I just wonder if the canter as well?  ;)

A very detailed article indeed.

I've always wanted one since the 70's when I used to read Bike magazine and a contributor ran a 450 and then of course the first model V twins appeared.

I lusted after a Darmah in particular as they had supposedly better Jap switchgear and clocks IIRC.

I road tested a later 750 (SS I think) in the early noughties but settled for a Guzzi V11 sport which had a much less radical riding position.

Eventually I bought a 1996 750 Monster in 2020 but although a lovely bike when it was running well caused me to spend a fortune trying to resolve running issues which I did eventually but had by then run out of confidence in that particular bike. It was beautifully balanced, with very light weight for a 750 and cornered as if it was on rails. A lovely torquey motor with just the right amount of power for my needs.
