Also true! I went to a classic scramble a few years ago and there was a guy running a Jawa speedway engine in a Rickman frame. It sounded fantastic. I had a bit of a chat with him and iirc, he'd lowered the compression to run on petrol, but stated that the big gobs of torque still regularly ate the gearbox ;D
