Ok - I have made contact with Mortons regard a club stand and im confident we will get one -soooooooooo who's up for it????
Usual rules apply - free weekend pass including camping if you show a bike - ideally arrive Friday afternoon (Saturday morning pre 9:00 at the very latest) you cant take your bike off the stand until 16:30 (ish) on the Sunday.
Refreshments provided for both days on the stand - possibly have pub food on the Saturday night!!!
I have asked for the balcony stand which can accommodate approx 8-10 bikes????

Afternoon Gareth, yes count me in (certainly at this point 🤦???) I’ll gladly bring the tracker XBR down again. Doubt very much that it’ll changed much since last October, it still has the levitating front mudguard 🤣🤣, unfortunately not had any chance to get back onto it as still finishing off our house build. Be great to catch up with everyone again though. So yes definitely count me in.
Cheers, Michael

Hi Gareth count me in too. I can bring one possibly 2 thumpers if I can get the logistics worked out 🤔🏍?🛵.
It's always an enjoyable weekend at Stafford. Hope we can encourage one or two new faces/bikes this time.
Ian 👍
Michael, haven't you patented that mudguard yet? 🙄

Ian... if only I had the time my friend. It’s this blinking house, it’s taken over my life I tell ya. Still I could have far worse things to worry/moan about. Hopefully see you in October 🤞👍
-
Will be great Ian if you can make it, as you say it would be good to get some new faces on the stand!!

Ya got me. Got me good! It'd be the best beer I ever bought anybody, but sadly, it's caring duties at home 24/7 and if I ever did get carers in to disappear on a bike weekend, the missus would disown me (no honeymoon yet and 17 years in)
-
Looking good for an enjoyable weekend. Think there will be only room for one thumper from me now, which is good 👍🏍?😁
-
Replied earlier post and said I will be happy to display Two bikes if you still happy with that.
-
Hello Gareth
I thought I'd said yes to this but it appears I haven't.
Looks like I've left it too late and you are full.
If someone drops out I would love to come along. Only got my trusty old XBR so a bit boring but please put me down for reserve.
Thanks very much for organising this again.
I'll come and see you anyway regardless.
Cheers
Richard

Richard, we will certainly be able to accommodate you, we are on the same stand as last year so we could comfortbaly have 8-10 bikes.
Shall i add you to the list?
-
Apologies if i have asked for this before, but could everyone who is going to attend the show at Stafford please message me the following details
Full Name

Bike Model, age, cc & any interesting facts about it. Less that 400 words as i know what you're like Ian!!!!!!!
I will put a message on Facebook as some members are on there and not on the TC forum - so again apologies it you feel im bombarding you with messages!!!

Yes please Gareth.
I'll message youy details and a very brief description.
It will almost certainly be my trusty old XBR but you never know, my son may have finished his Velo by then (I don't suppose you know anyone with a Viper engine?).
Many thanks
Richard

Thanks Mike, it would be great to have your bikes on the stand.

Any news on the passes?
-
Tickets won't be available till about 2 weeks before the event. Gareth (silverfox) will keep us updated as and when
-
I have messaged to ask when the passes wil come through. Morton's have changed the ticket precess, they will send vehicle passes and you will receive your wrist band when you arrive. I'll let you know when I know.
-
Unfortunately I’ve had to pull out of the show this October as something has come up family wise that I really can’t get out of 🤦???. I’m absolutely gutted as I was really looking forward to getting back down there and having a laugh and catching up with everyone again. Anyway I hope you all have a cracking weekend and don’t forget to post up some photos.
Cheers, Michael
-
The vehicle passes have arrived and I'll post them out in the next day or so. You will receive your ticket on production of the pass at the trade gate. If you require an additional ticket for a guest they can enter via the trade gate or park in the public car park a go to one of the ticket booths. They will need to provide the club name, stand number and my name. They won't need to queue and can go directly to a ticket booth.
I'll try and send you all a copy of the email from Morton's regarding additional tickets as I'm not confident the message will get to the guys on the gates!
Look forward to catching up with you all in a couple of weeks.
Gareth
-
We could still accommodate another bike if anyone else is interested, let me know as soon as possible if you are interested.
Cheers
Gareth

If I can make it, I’ll even come armed with a big bag of jelly babies 👶

Sorry Gareth, thought I'd replied,. My pass arrived Thursday I think and is pinned on our notice board.
I asked Mark if he wanted to put one of his BSAs on the stand but he can't make the time for it as he has a gig on Saturday. He's hopping to get to see us on Sunday if he can.
Thanks for sorting it all out for us. Really looking forward to seeing you.
Cheers

Not received mine as yet but the post is not too brilliant at the moment here. Still waiting for something I ordered two weeks ago on ebay it is tracked and was out for delivery on Monday, still not got it, reported it to the seller.
Will let you know when I have the pass.
Regards
Mike
NOTE:- Received the pass this morning Cheers.

Im hoping you've all now received your tickets, please let me know if you haven't.

I've been thinking about the Saturday night in Stafford and what peoples thoughts are for eating and drinking? I have provisionally booked a table at the Plough & Knot pub near the showground, alternatively we could take a trip into Stafford town centre and try out some of the local hostelries? Anyway just something to think about and we can discuss at the show.

I’ve always liked a man with a sense of humour 🤣🤣🥃🍺🍻🍾🍷

We will be ok, the Greyhound only serves a maximum of 8 pints (well that's how I read it) so if we have a pint in each and finish at the Greyhound, that's only 15 pints!!
-
Seriously though, Thanks Gareth for all your research. Whilst the town pubs look more interesting, I'm happy to go with The Plough and Knot. Not much atmosphere but we can make our own. Happy to go with what everyone else wants.
-
Evening chaps, just a quick note to say hope you all have a great weekend down at Stafford. Sounds like I’m missing out big time on the Saturday night out this year. GUTTED 🤦???🍺. Enjoy 👍
Cheers, Michael
-
Hi there all, not long back from another brilliant weekend at Stafford.
Lovely to meet friends old and new. Especially nice to see Trevor again.
Thanks once again to Gareth and Graham for organising our tickets etc, and supplying everything we ate and drank.
Roll on the next one
Ian 👍😁
-
Still gutted I couldn’t make it down, sounds like a great weekend (as always) Hope the pub crawl went according to plan 😉🍻🍻
Any photos Ian?
Hopefully the stand will be back next April and hopefully I can get down again🤞
Cheers Michael
-
Thanks to everyone who attended the show and for those who showed their bike/s on the stand, we had a great turn out 10 bikes, must be a record! As always lots of banter and merriment. Unfortunately we had 2 members who didn't have such a good time due health reasons (unrelated issues), wishing you a speedy recovery. Pig of a drive home with heavy traffic on M6/M5 then torrential rain!
So thinking of next year, would anyone be interested in the April show (if it goes ahead) or just stick to October? (we could do both)
Gareth
-
Feel like this is a bit of deja vu on my part but I’d be up for the April show 🤦??? (if you guys have a stand?) would have loved to have made it down last weekend.
Cheers, Michael
-
Yes, thank you Gareth and Graham for making our weekend.
Great time and great company. I think there was a show but too much talking to notice! Only joking, it was a good show as well.
Well done done once again chaps.
Thank you.
Richard
Ps. Yes please, definitely up for the April show.
