Slightly off topic gents (ladies?) just got back from my first outing on the new trident. 120miles.
What a corker of a bike. Just great , especially for the price. It’s got absolutely loads of torque on tap, will pull in 2nd gear from 20mph like a train. They’ve obviously altered the gearing from a standard 675 engine. Yet will zap round to 70mph at a fairly rapid pace. Plenty enough for what I personally want nowadays. Absolutely no regrets whatsoever in getting rid of the CCM. Just need to get cracking and finish the XBR tracker project now so I’ll still be allowed to contribute to this forum 😉😉👍
Cheers, Michael

I think you'll be allowed in here whatever you ride Michael...we can't afford to get rid of your dry humour.
Btw, glad you are enjoying the trumpet 🎺

I shall raise a tipple to you and your triple 🤪👍😎

Hi Michael
So pleased for you to hear that the Trident is hitting the spot. After all of CCMs shenanigans you might have been tempted to feel you had to stick with the Spitfire to save face but luckily you are sensible enough to have cut you losses and discovered a bike that really suits you.
I look forward to tales of many more miles to come.

Thanks chaps, yes I’m definitely going to be getting out as much as I possibly can this year, especially now the pressure is off me with our house build (thank goodness 😥) should hopefully find a bit of time to spend on the tracker build now too 🤞🤞
Cheers, Michael

Glad to hear you've turned things around Michael.
