Title: Today
Post by: iansoady on March 22, 2022, 11:11:13 AM
Just had a 20 mile run on the Norton - first time I've been on it for what must be over a year and probably nearer 2. Lovely in the sunshine and this confirms my view that the maxi-scoot is not where my future lies. It did seem a bit strange but handled very well although the roads seem to have got bumpier since I was last out. And my thigh muscles need to get a bit more attuned to it although getting aboard was not bad at all.

Yes great stuff, nothing like getting back in the saddle. Especially if you’ve had some time out.

All the best Ian, pleased that the initial canter has proved positive and I hope that you can put the miles under the wheels.

Good health, Bill

Many thanks all - I was a bit nervous to tell the truth but as soon as the wheels were rolling it all felt natural again.

What a nice way to get back plodding along on the Norton on such a nice spring day.

This is excellent and very welcome news. When the news media in our country just want to feed us doom and gloom it is so nice to hear of someone so obviously enjoying the simple pleasures.

I've always enjoyed simple pleasures.....

TBH I was quite tired when I returned home evn after less than an hour on the bike. But I'm sure that will improve. What was nice is that all the controls were where I expected them to be and everything worked well despite the layoff.
