A cautionary tale;

Oh dear.... defo NOT a happy ending 😥😥

As far as i can see he ruined a perfectly good bike, more money than sense, tuff

Got to say that I agree totally with Rufus. Of course it is sad that the guy got so badly ripped off, but I have no sympathy. As far as I can see this bloke agreed to spend a ton of cash creating a cliched 'custom' bike that would be less practical than the original. I know that is his prerogative and beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but caveat emptor and all that.
Just for balance I do like the colour!

Ah but Mr Spooky, some might say that someone ruined a great bike when they built your conda. I for one would say it....however. It’s freedom of choice. Surely it’s up to the geezer how he spends his hard earned cash. Plus the fact that the company he’d gone with went to the wall wasn’t his fault. THAT I think was just extremely unfortunate, probably for all parties.
Cheers, Michael

A sad tale regardless and a 2year old Royal Enfield has cost him £14k.

As for the competency of any of the parties featured in the video, including the punter???????????????????????????????????????
I think that the Antipodean phrase F*** Wits, applies.
"Cool bro!" ::) ::) ::)

not got the sense he was born with. if you want a custom bike, build it. if you havent got the ability, then ride it stock. if youre prepared to throw thousands at a bike without seemingly questioning the people who are effectively just repainting trimming and fixing bolt on bits to it, they youve really nobody else to blame but yourself. i mean its not like this 'custom' work seems to involve manufacturing parts from lumps of metal and making them fit. he seems to have paid 8 grand plus for a bunch of bolt on bits from the m+p catalogue! what do they say about a fool and his money!!

That's how I saw it. How on earth would you be able to enjoy a bike which continually reminds you it's not worth anything close to the £14 large that you got had for?!??

My cynical take is that anyone who likes this sort of thing is likely to be daft enough to pay well over the odds for any old rubbish that's shiny enough.......
