What will these beauties be going for, then?
-
As I understand they are being made India- possibly Enfield? So hopefully reasonably priced.

Mahindra , they may also use the 300cc motor out of the Jawa , also owned by Mahindra, for a smaller capacity single, Bantam ?

They certainly look the part..........If they as anywhere near as good / value as the Enfields they should do well..........

Apart from the fugly radiator....

Apart from the fugly radiator....
Spot on!
Here's a good walk around;

Yes... very nice indeedy. Defo a shame about the radiator but hey sign of the times. Least it’s not fully electric (yet🤦???😉) I think if the price is right it’ll sell in reasonable numbers. Thanks for posting Matt 👍
Cheers, Michael

Any guesses as to price ? has to be near RE 650 money ?
-
Yes I think I’d agree with you on that one Mr Spooky. Don’t think it will be to long before they release a price on it 🤷???
Cheers, Michael

Just had a wee shufty at the video mthee posted. Oh dear! :(
What is that all about? ??? ??? ??? ???
All up weight wet is 213kg or in Imperial weight 470lbs! An SRX600 twin shock, fully fuelled is only 172kg or 380lbs and with a similar 44BHP output, on slimmer tyres the SRX will be a nicer bike to ride.
A well sorted SRX can be had for under £2K and depreciation is likely to be minimal.
Why would you buy this? ??? ??? ??? ??? I just don't get it! :(
Not to mention the 42 carat P...... getting his BSA and Royal Enfield rifles emblems mixed, amongst other things! ::)
As an aside, out for a canter this afternoon through the windblow to the west of us, on the Duke, 127kg, or 280lbs, with about 30-35BHP and 3"x18" front and 3.50"x18" rear tyres, you just think it through the curves! ;D Temperature was sitting at 2°C, but much of the road was dry and the old bird was on a light throttle at 55mph to 60mph for most of the way! Had a coffee and chocolate eclair whilst looking west up Loch Earn and decided that when the gritter went past it was probably time to head home. Wash down, leaf blower dry off, then back in the garage.
Keep wearing them out!
Good health, Bill

I was right there with you for the canter, Bill, thanks for posting 👍

Yes... I’ve now got my Oxford heated grips on the spitfire so I too went out for a little run yesterday morning. Only about 25miles but still enough to blow the cobwebs away. 👍👍

Went to the show on Friday, stopped off at said BSA stand and spoke with a couple of the staff. Apparently no-one knows how much or when available ( but possibly mid 2022). At least one of the bikes has internals in the engine although I was assured all models on display did have functioning engines. They are looking at "somewhere in the West Midlands" to build them. Small Heath is out of the question. The CEO of Classic Legends, gets quite upset when asked about Mahindra owning them as I was told in no uncertain terms that they only have a 60% share of the company.

Ian,
Thank you for your inside sleuthing.
The CEO of Classic Legends, gets quite upset when asked about Mahindra owning them as I was told in no uncertain terms that they only have a 60% share of the company.
60% looks like a majority shareholding to me and consequently having "control" the company 'Classic Legends'. ??? What is it that the CEO's of this world don't understand, or was my CSE grade 1 pass all in vain? :(
Quite "Why?" it takes so long to give a price for the product and where you are going to manufacture it also leaves me puzzled and concerned. Surely these fundemantal questions have been answered in the initial business plan that Mahindra have bought 60% of? Or maybe not! Just another "accounting mirror", with some brass necked front men. >:(
Hope my cynicism is unfounded.
Good health, Bill
