Hello All,
I hope you are enjoying the nice weather.
looking through my collections of headlamp units for my XBR I find that I only have one with a decent reflector and that has a broken lens!
Trying to get one they all seem to be in Germany and are stupidly expensive . Does anyone know which other ones fit the XBR (I thing the NTV650 does but again all in Germany and stupid prices).
Has anyone tried to get the lens off the reflector? It looks like it is probably glued in place and will probably break everything when I try.

There is a head light unit complete with the mounts for a mere £60 on fleabay - UK seller - search: Honda xbr500 headlamp complete with mounts.. Might be worth dropping a note to the seller to see if there is a deal to be done ;D

I'm pretty sure the Honda CB350 SG has the same sized headlight I bought one from ebay for my old GN250 (crap headlight) and was suprised it was the same as the XBR's. David Silver sell the 350SG lens/reflector for £25 - worth giving them a call to see if it is the same.

I definitely had one but sent it over to Chris (hyperbimduke) for his German import model bike. Which has sadly been stolen. I’ll have a look in my “box of bits” to see what I have left. Probably be tomorrow evening now though. (Thursday) ....

Sorry Richard, had a look through all the bits n bobs I have but alas you’re out of luck. No headlight, shell or lense. 🤷???.. best of luck.

I have checked with David Silver, Steve, and they tell me that the 350SG headlamp is different to the XBR (different number anyway) and they can do me and XBR one for £214 plus VAT!!! I told them I'd have three for the shelf (not!). I did say that was well over 1/3 of what I paid for the bike.
I have managed to get the broken lens of my half decent reflector and am starting to try and get the good lens off the rubbish reflector and try and glue them together with ht silicone. I will let you know how I get on.

The part no is 33100MK4622 and appears to be the same as the Honda CB750 F2.
I have found a complete unit with shell here at what seems a ridiculously cheap price of £34. Seems too good to be true.

do you have a standard shell to fit that rim ,those aftermarket ones can be very big at the back ,and hit the ignition ,so you cant use the standard headlight brackets at least on the headlight i got on line ,,,tommy

I did manage to find a usable one amongst the pile thanks. Not brilliant but not intended for night use and passed MOT ok.
