Title: Timbo?
Post by: Moto63 on January 27, 2021, 09:37:50 AM
Morning chaps, I was just wondering if anyone out there knows whatever happened to Tim. He used to be a regular on here but just seemed to drop off the radar. Used to enjoy some of his posts. Just wondered what had happened to him 🤷???
Cheers, Michael

Michael, I asked the very same question during lockdown but received no reply or info. He lives/lived not far from me but obviously during lockdown can't do much. Although I seem to remember a whisper about him returning across the Irish Sea.

Hi Folks - just to keep you up to speed I'm still in touch with regularly with Tim both by phone and via a WhatsApp group that was set up for a group of motorcycling mates in Northern Ireland. He's doing ok and after a spell living in back Northern Ireland between January and September he's now over in Bridgnorth. Like the rest of us he hasn't being much motorcycling lately but has been out and about on his bicycle exploring the lanes and backroads in his local area. Also like the rest of us he's missing the pubs being open :'( :'(.

I'll let him know you were asking after him.

Regards and stay safe

Thanks for the update Tony - I'll give him a call and see if he wants to meet up for a bicycle ride at some point when the weather has improved a bit. Mind you, by that time we may all be back on the bikes hopefully 🤞.

I don't think he has Internet access at home in Bridgnorth and had been using the computers in the library to post on here. With the libraries being locked down, I expect that's why he's not been posting. Last time I was in touch with him he'd just bought another Enfield...
