About time a touch of common sense was used in the “new normal” rules 👍

Fortunately the Welsh lockdown is now over so I can ride again, but I didn't do so for pleasure/leisure during either lockdown.
We had a fatal last week with a lone rider on a 125, experienced, that put all the responders at added risk of exposure.
I have to say that I'm not familiar with the English rules on lockdown but I am somewhat surprised at either the way they are written or the BMF etc interpretation - but having seen what some people described as 'essential' during our lockdowns perhaps I shouldn't be.
Ride safe.

I have to say that although I have ridden over the summer, it's only been short runs at quiet times and I've been extra careful for exactly that reason. There'll always be another year - well, if not I won't know about it so won't miss it.
