Excellent Bill. Is it just me or does the front end off the bike like sort of Katanaesque?

yep, the fairing bears a resemblance to the kat, hardly surprising as it was that era. but also, looking at thee bmw gs series of adventure bikes, it seems that theres more than a passing resemblance to the dr too.
