Title: XBR engine case paint

Hi, can anyone recommend engine case paint, nearest match from aerosol cans?

I looked into this very thing a couple of years ago for my XBR's but couldn't find anything off the shelf.

I was told by automotive paint supplier that they could mix the right colour into a rattle can if I had the colour code but to be aware that whilst the colour would be a technical match there may be the effects of 30+ years of use to contend with if "patching" but it would be good for a full re-spray once the surfaces were prepared.

Thanks for your help, I took a gamble & ordered some from David Silver Spares, VHT engine & case paint, we'll see what I get...
