To be fair a nice looking, standard low mileage bike

Both the SRX and XBR have now acquired 'Classic'  status ( according to some magazines anyway) and so disirability and price are creeping up. Several nice XBRs have recently gone on Ebay for £1200-1400 and the prices at the dealers have been around £2k ish for good low mileage ones. However they haven't quite reached the £3.5K  for a non standard average  one a dealer on Ebay is asking - "this one won't be around for long" ....well it's been there for 6 months!! ....I did tell him.......

In France this one could be sold between £2000 and £2500.

Good grief, I better fix my bike pretty quick!
I'm not used to owning something that gains in value....quite bizarre.
