Africa Adventure on Travel chan 42

Anyone watching this? I cannot recommend it enough :)  Much more Mondo Enduro than Long Way Down or Henry Cole.

Yes I have been watching. He's attended some of the XT660 meets :D Nice guy.

Mind you just shows how crashable the Ten is.

Shame it took him so long to get rid of those plastic / alloy coated pannier boxes. It wouldn't have been too difficult to get some canvas bags to throw over the seat instead of having all of the weight so high up. I think that might have contributed to soo many offs!

Certainly commendable to pick up a hiker but it would have made it more difficult to ride on those dirt roads.

.........and YES I do know 'cos I lived in Kenya for 4 years and had an XT500! ;D

Good stuff Steve. Missed the first twenty minute which pees me of,f as he went through Namibia, where I used to work over twenty five years ago. It was called SWA, South West Africa, when I arrived, and Namibia when I left  :-\
