Wheel rebuilding
« on: March 16, 2007, 04:24:06 PM »
There is a chap who has a small business on the outskirts of Huddersfiels who has rebuilt my DR wheels with SS spokes, charges £55 for labour and materials. I will contact him to see if he is OK to be added to this listing but I can recommend his work and the mechanic where I take my bikes for MOT's etc also can vouch for him.

wwww.buchananspokes.com has been a source of top notch spokes and rims here in the US for a long time, and cannot be beaten for quality.

Stainless spokes for Britbikes, antiques, customs, Indians and Harleys were their original specialty, but now they can do anything to help anyone with any wheel.

On a 10 scale, they are about a 10.6.          Like in school, they get extra credit for extra effort.    Hope this helps someone.     Jim

As I recently mentioned in reply to Cloggy's post...

Are good for wheel components. They build wheels too.

I'm going to give him a bell about re-spoking the front wheel on my KTM.
